Verdantas is seeking a Survey Spring Co-Op . This position will be in Toledo, Ohio.
Responsibilities:
Assisting with fieldwork (e.g., site inspections, surveys, GPS mapping)
Assisting in preparing surveying-related calculations, design drawings, specifications, and visual aids
Researching, collecting, and entering data, and applying technical principles to assist in interpreting and analyzing data
Assisting in preparing engineering-related calculations, design drawings, specifications, and visual aids
Reviewing submittals and technical documents to assess compliance with project requirements and preparing draft documents
Preparing CAD and GIS drawings and documents
Annual update of our cost-estimating database
Prepare and update design and calculation templates
Miscellaneous assignments on an as-needed basis
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing Construction Engineering Technology, Surveying or Civil Engineering with a focus on Survey
Interest in working in the surveying field
Experience in AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Must be able to write effectively and articulate outcomes to clients and team members
The position may include travel
Previous intern experience a plus
Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
