Job Title: General Production Worker

Job Description

Candidates will be GFab – General Fabrication. General Fabrication is essentially a floating position where candidates are responsible for a variety of different tasks.

Laser Cutting:
Candidates take the sheets of steel that are lasered on the machine to their station. They will be responsible for using hand tools to knock out the cut pieces from the sheet of steel. Candidates will do a visual inspection on the piece and stack them in the tote to move to the next stage. Once the pieces are lasered, they have a little piece that stays on the part. Candidates will use a deburring/polisher to smooth out that edge.

Paintline:
Warmest part of the plant. Candidates will hang pieces on the line and the line will run the piece through for paint. The candidates will be responsible for prepping the piece. Certain sections need to be taped off, holes need to be filled, etc.

Assembly:
Straightforward assembly with hand/power tools to put the pieces together.

Candidates need to be open to all roles. Training will be given in every department for every position. They just need candidates to be open to learning and going where the plant needs them at a given time.
