Looking for Correctional Nurses to assist this jailsite through Illinois Department of Corrections (IDOC). Below are the volumeneeded and shift times required – All details about the facility demographicsand jail site can be found at https://www2.illinois.gov/idoc/facilities/Pages/AllFacilities.aspx

Needed forsubmittal : Amergis Cover Page, Resume, Illinois Nursing License, SSN, DOB

Needed uponacceptance : Submittal Packet with Amergis cover page, resume, IL StateLicense, CPR Card, COVID Card, Nursing License and completed IDOCApplication AND full 10-year work history dating back to 2014 must beattached. Temp license NOTaccepted

All nurses must be available for 5×8 hour schedule tofit the facilities scheduling needs unless the position details inrecruitcare state otherwise

· Under “Requirement” dropdown

· Click, Wexford – IDOCApplication (Contract Requirement)

· Ensure all Five (5) pages areassigned

· Additional work history page mayalso be assigned via the above steps

o Matcheswithout full 10-year work history will be rejected

Candidates WILL NOT be acceptedwithout all of the above items included in the packet

Only submittals through RC will be looked at – Ifcorrect submission requirements are not met, the match will be rejected

Please allow 24hrs from match for submission toclient, once submitted allow 48 hours for feedback

MUST HAVE PERMANENT LICENSE – templicense will not be accepted

Submission Timeline (please review with caregiverprior to submission):

·Submit Candidate to Wexford for nameclear/eligibility

·If eligible (name clear), candidate is sent toCorrections Regional Manager and DON for interview (Phone Screen)

·Once accepted, candidate must send the following toNRM/ BDM, merged as one PDF

o CompletedIDOC Application w/full 10-year work history

o CPR(BLS)

o Driver’sLicense

o Photosof Tattoos (if applicable)

o CovidVaccination (fully completed) – client does not allowmedical/religious exemptions for agency staff

Wexford/IDOC will not begin BG’s until allrequirements are received and 100% accurate

·Once above requirements are sent, Wexford schedulesfor:

o BackgroundCheck – can take up to a minimum of 28 days to clear

o DrugScreen – scheduled after BGs clear

o CandidateWILL NOT receive a start date until they clear DS with IDOC

·Standard Amergis onboarding

To be cleared to start, candidate must:

· Be Fully Vaccinated (noexemptions)

· Be Permanently Licensed inIllinois

· Be in Full Placement

· Clear Wexford Background Check andDrug Screen

Caregivers should bring her belongings in a clearplastic bag (if bringing lunch they will check bag if not clear),water/juice/tea need to be in a sealed bottle, must leave with the same penthey came in with. There is a designated smoking area if needed.
