Job Title: Accounts Receivable Specialist
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Receivable Specialist with 3 to 4 years of cash application experience. The ideal candidate will hold an AA degree or have equivalent accounting experience, and possess intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel and Word.
$25-28/hr.
On-site work in South Irvine (must be local)
6 Months Contract-to-Hire
Responsibilities:
– Apply a high volume of customer payments received via Lockbox, mail, EFT, and credit cards with a high degree of accuracy on a daily basis
– Prepare and distribute daily cash receipts reports to various offices
– Reconcile daily cash receipts to bank entries
– Research entries posted to Unapplied Cash
– Respond to cash receipt inquiries from our various offices
– Respond to various email inquiries from customers and/or other departments in a timely manner
– Ensure all cash receipts are in balance with Bank Ledger entries at month-end
– Assist with other projects when necessary
Qualifications:
3-4 years Cash application experience
Accounting knowledge
Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
Intermediate Microsoft Word skills

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).
Work Environment
This role operates within a collaborative team environment. The work schedule is from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
