Job Description
Olsson’s rail traffic experts provide clients with a single resource for services such as traffic signal preemption design, grade crossing safety design, traffic operations studies, and other related services. As a Traffic Engineer for the rail program, you will assist with traffic and preemption analysis/design, perform site visits, assist with plan or study preparation, and work closely with others on complex projects.

You bring to the team:
1-4 years traffic or transportation engineering experience
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
Engineering Intern Certificate (EI) preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to contribute and work well on a team
Proficiency in AutoCAD (or similar software)
Proficiency in Synchro (or similar software)
Strong problem-solving and math skills

Typical salary range for this position is $85,835 to $110,000 and is commensurate with experience relative to the position.
