The Mail and Processing Specialist is responsible for receiving, sorting, and delivering mail/packages to Xerox clients in accordance with SLA agreements to manage customer relations and optimize satisfaction.
Primary Responsibilities:
Support the efficient transfer of mail and maintain Xerox required reporting logs for billing information
Perform all aspects of mailing activities including but not limited to sorting, metering, folding, inserting, pickup, etc.)
Problem-solve issues to complete mail and package delivery on time
Maintain appropriate supply inventory for mailing and packaging machines.
Responsible for delivering high standards of quality for the services provided.
Operate standard mail and processing equipment and perform Maintenace as required
Skills and Requirements:
Provide excellent customer service, anticipating the needs of the customer to align with Xerox’s business mission/objective.
Demonstrate business maturity and professionalism while working directly with customers daily.
Able to work with minimal oversight, maintaining a high attention to detail and organization.
Have basic computer skills for data entry including functional knowledge of Microsoft Office
Demonstrate superior time management skills and reliability.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Must be able to stand for long periods of time, walk, bend, and reach.
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience in a customer service environment (minimum 1 year).
Training provided on mailroom and shipping responsibilities (prior experience is beneficial, but not required).
Experience with taking ownership of work while ensuring quality standards are met.
