Job Type: Regular The Scheduling Representative will be part of that
ensures the coordination of all scheduling activities with the
Scheduling Team. The position will be actively involved in the daily
coordination of balancing the inbound service level needs of the
Procurement Buying Teams, manufacturers and transportation carriers to
schedule and expedite orders through an online scheduling system. In
addition, the role will work daily with Transportation and Warehouse
Operations. The Scheduling Representative I will highly interact and
communicate with Buying Assistants, Buyers/Analysts, Supervisors/Senior
Analysts, Managers and Directors regarding specific areas of specific
responsibilities in a efficient and professional manner. Job Description
Prioritize and schedule inbound loads to ensure highest customer service
level and distribution efficiency. Ensure appropriate receiving
capacity, by facility, by day and by receiving hour to ensure scheduling
team communicates any variances outside guidelines. Use online dock
scheduling system, to expedite orders that require high priority status
due to rush shipments. Assist and train Manufacturers and Carriers in
proper utilization of scheduling system. Assist in the creation of
multiple inter-facility transfers for assigned facilities while
attaining minimum average weight and cube. Assist in the coordination of
timely resolution on all past due POs and communicate exceptions to
warehouse, transportation and procurement daily. Review status of
expedited orders to ensure timely arrival. Assist in the creation of
multiple weekly storage pullbacks from storage facilities, both public
and company-wide, while attaining minimum average weight and cube.
Assist with execution of continued Service Level and inbound monitoring.

Office Temperature (65F to 75F) Skills Specialized Knowledge : Special
Skills : Basic computer skills; preferable knowledge of Microsoft
Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook; Professional customer service
skills; Efficient and professional communication skills, both verbally
and through email; Ability to quickly learn new systems; Outstanding
attention to detail; ability to multitask and prioritize work; Ability
to work in a fast-paced, changing atmosphere Physical abilities: :
