Advantage Technical is seeking an experienced Hardware Technician for our client onsite in Allentown, PA – A position with a company that goes beyond their mission of transforming patient lives and strive to foster a diverse and inclusive work environment!
Employment Type: Long term contract (approx. 1-year) with the possibility of extension
Pay: $33-$35 per hour (flexible based of years of experience).
Location: 901 Marcon Blvd. Allentown, PA 18109-9512
Shift: Monday-Friday 7:30am-5pm (Flexible and can come in early or later depending).
Required Skillsets:
Experience Troubleshooting down to the electrical component level is a MUST
Computer/Machine hardware and software support.
Running lab equipment
Debugging boards
Running tests, circuit board assemblies
Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with other Technicians.
Skillset desired contd:
Read mechanical and electrical drawings/schematics
Electrical & Mechanical assembly
Hand and small tool/fixture
Point to point wiring, cables, connectors & component placement
Use of lab equipment for mechanical and electrical inspection/debugging
Mechanical – Calipers, gauges, vision systems
Electrical – Oscilloscope, multimeters, soldering/de-soldering, etc.
Troubleshooting electronic circuits (Surface mount technology)
Test protocol execution/processing
Data capture
Microsoft Office tool suite familiarity
Software familiarity with one or more of the following:
LabView
Altium Designer or other PCB cad package
Programming Language
C, C, Scripting, LabView
Education:
Associates degree – EET, EE, E-Mech, etc.
Equivalent work experience is acceptable (2 years)
