Job Summary

Elevate your career in hospitality by joining the team at Longwood Gardens as a Restaurant Manager. You will be in charge of crafting outstanding dining experiences! This role is perfect for someone passionate about fine dining, service excellence, and team leadership in one of the most breathtaking and iconic settings.

As a Restaurant Manager, youll be responsible for ensuring seamless service, upholding the highest standards, and leading all aspects of the entire front-of-house (FOH) team. From leading staff to curating unforgettable guest experiences, you’ll be at the heart of delivering extraordinary dining.

Responsibilities:

Hire, train, and inspire a premier FOH team to deliver fine dining at its best.

Oversee scheduling, payroll, and administrative duties while keeping costs and inventory in check.

Lead daily meetings to keep the team aligned and prepared for exceptional service.

Handle reservation systems and daily seating arrangements to meet business demands.

Ensure sparkling cleanliness, impeccable service, and a welcoming atmosphere in the dining room.

Handle guest concerns with professionalism and poise, turning challenges into positive experiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

2-3 years of upscale dining experience, with at least one year in a leadership role.

Expertise in current food and industry trends, and fine dining service techniques.

A talent for training, coaching, and developing your team to excellence.

Strong interpersonal skills, ability to stay calm under pressure, and a passion for delivering guest satisfaction.

Proficiency in POS systems, Microsoft Office, and reservation platforms.
