Job Summary
Battelle is seeking a Senior Program Manager for our Cyber Business Line. The position is at our Chantilly, VA. Frequent travel to Huntsville, AL and Columbus, OH, may be necessary. This position reports to the Enterprise Assurance Division Manager.
As a Senior Program Manager , you would be responsible for a portfolio of programs across DOD and specifically within the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Chief Information Officer office, engaging with the DOD agencies, and developing and executing contracts across the DOD federal markets with support from the broader Cyber Business Line.
Responsibilities
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Technical field; at least 12 years of experience demonstrating progressive responsibility in business development, program management or technical management; or an equivalent combination of education and or experience in a related field.
Expertise in technology development, cyber, R&D, and/or digital technology transformation.
Experience in business development and initiating/on-contract growth for programs.
Program or project management experience managing large programs.
Proven ability to take complex technical and scientific concepts and turn them into clear and concise verbal and written forms.
Excellent communication skills both oral and written and with all levels of management.
Ability to speak to customers at varying levels of technical knowledge and explain mission value of products and services.
Ability to work individually as well as in small fast-paced team environments.
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
Candidates must hold an active DOD TS clearance with SCI eligibility.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s Degree or higher, preferably in technical discipline or similar professional experience.
Strong knowledge of Cyber concepts, technologies, operations, and use cases, specifically utilizing new or cutting-edge cyber technology in federal agencies.
Master’s Degree or higher, preferably in technical discipline or similar professional experience.
Military or Federal operational, budgetary, or contracting experience.
