Hiring MIG Welders :
Job Duties :
• Read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols to determine sequence and methods of assembling components.
• Read and interpret work orders.
Use basic hand tools such as tape measurer and specialty equipment.
• Learn and operate all equipment within the work area (cell).
• Perform rework as required.
• Support APS initiatives and may participate in RCI events.
• Be willing to move to other work areas to support production needs (cross-train).
• Lay out and mark dimensions and reference lines on material applying knowledge of shop math and layout techniques.
• Perform MIG welding by using a variety of arc and gas welding equipment.
• Inspect assembly/components for conformance with specifications.
• Trim, file, grind, sand, deburr, buff, and smooth surfaces using hand tools and portable power tools.
• Train new/current associates.
• Follow established safety, environmental, and quality policies and procedures.
• Maintain daily time records.
Perform other job duties as assigned. Duties may vary by location.

Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in DALEVILLE, Virginia.
Work Environment
Manufacturing/production environment. Not climate
controlled. Fast-paced and performance-driven.
Shift:
first shift (6:30am – 3:00pm)
second shift (3:15pm – 11:45pm)
All shifts can require overtime and are likely to work 3 out of 4 Saturdays of the month.
