Job Description
The Audit Analytics Analyst will carry out the process of obtaining, organizing and delivering on data requests for various Internal Audit projects. This position will identify opportunities for use of data analytics across the audit lifecycle including risk assessment, audit plan development, fieldwork, findings management and continuous monitoring.
Responsibilities
Participate in execution of the audit analytics program across the Internal Audit (IA) department and audit lifecycle
Develop proper documentation, validation of data and completion of the project
Assist with continuous audit engagements and continuous risk assessments
Assist with continuous improvement in the audit analytics program, with continued support of the implementation and maintenance of automated analytic and data visualization tools
Assist with solutions for improvement opportunities focused on management monitoring controls, , automating internal and external processes with robotic process automation (RPA), process mining, and/or machine learning solutions
Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems,ComputerScience, Business, Accounting, Economics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics,Finance or related area ofstudy,or equivalent combination ofeducationand/or relevant work experience;HSdiploma or GED is required
2 years of experience in IT, risk management, internal audit, or data analytics/data science team
1 year of experience using SAS, SPSS, SQL, SXC or other data analysis tools
Must beeligible to work in the United States without needfor work visa or residencysponsorship
Additional Qualifications
Skilled in Microsoftapplications(Excel,Word and PowerPoint)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Demonstratedcriticalthinkingand analysis
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively as part of a team
Strongorganizationalskills and the ability to handle multiple projectssimultaneously
Preferred Qualifications
Data analysis/data science certification, Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
Experience in working and solving complex business problems using a variety of data mining and data analysis techniques like exploratory analysis, statistical modeling, etc.
Experience in one database/programming languages like SQL, Alteryx, R, SAS, Python, etc.
Experience with visualization tools like Tableau, PowerBI, QlikView, etc.

Reporting Structure
Reports to Manager or Director in the Internal Audit department
Potential pay for this position ranges from $64,700.00 – $97,100.00 based on experience and skills. Pay range may vary by 8% depending on applicant location.
