Responsibilities

This will be a full-time position with a company in the Watkinsville area. The company recently launched a website and is looking to hire someone with some experience in Social Media marketing and eCommerce site management. The site is in infancy stages, so the role will heavily involve supporting retail operations as the website grows and requires more attention. Responsibilities will include:

Developing and executing social media strategies across platforms including Facebook, X, and Instagram

Creating, scheduling, and managing content for social media posts to enhance brand awareness and customer engagement.

Managing daily operations of the eCommerce website, ensuring a seamless customer experience.

Handling customer communication related to orders, inquiries, and support via email and website chat.

Collaborating with the 3rd party website designer and host for any website updates or issues.

Assisting customers in-store with checkouts, answering phones, and providing exceptional service.

Working closely with the current overseer to receive training and guidance on best practices for social media marketing and website management.

Adapting to evolving responsibilities as the role grows and the business develops.

Previous experience in social media marketing and customer service required.

Familiarity with Shopify or other eCommerce platforms preferred.

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and comfortable handling various file types.
