Job Purpose:

Responsible for day-to-day implementation, administration, troubleshooting, maintenance and application support for the ERP Systems at Progress Rail. This position is responsible for maintaining applications and systems needed by the organization to ensure they are fully functional 24/7/365, providing rapid response and support to systems as required.

• Bachelor’s degree in CIS, MIS, Accounting, Finance or related Technology field.

Key Job Elements:

• Support SAP which includes General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, Planning, Purchasing, Warehousing, Sales and Invoicing;

• Support SAP data extractions for conversion project;

• Engage and interact with business users to troubleshoot and resolve system issues;

• Engage and interact with business users to address new reporting requirements;

• Engage with users to test vendor solutions, patches and report;

• Escalate top priority, production-critical issues to the appropriate support staff;

• Make recommendations of perceived solutions to potential problem areas and methods for improvement.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in Information Technology or Accounting / Finance field;

• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in Manufacturing / Cost Accounting environment;

• Knowledge of systems from Order to Cash;

• Preferred experience with system implementation;

• Preferred experience with SAP;

• Preferred experience with BI tools and/or reporting tools;

• Preferred experience with data analysis and database concepts;

• Preferred experience writing SQL and PL/SQL;

• Direct experience with business requirements development and analysis;

• Direct financial experience with an understanding of accounting principles;

• Proficient with Microsoft Office (especially Excel);

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail;

• Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills;

• Excellent communication skills.
