Siemens Energy is looking for a Business Development Professional for its Surge Arrester & Insulator Business. The candidate will be responsible for developing segment-focused business plans and key account and project target lists, sales and marketing programs, and end-user partnerships, to support and increase sales, primarily with transmission projects and blanket contracts. This person will cover a portion of the US market, will report to the US Business Head, and will have no direct reports.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Lead all aspects in the development of strategies for profitable penetration into new and existing partner and market channels.
Create programs, metrics, and reporting to ensure achievement of assigned business goals.
Drive new initiatives that seek out and capitalize on profitable growth opportunities.
Guide business development within key vertical markets.
Garner sponsorship with key internal and external decision-makers and stakeholders.
Develop and maintain relationships with key influencers and customer contacts.
What You Bring
BS/BA Degree, technical discipline; industry certifications or equivalent experience.
successful experience with MV/HV products, supporting incremental growth initiatives.
Experience with Sales/Sales Management, End-user relations and Business Development.
Strong leadership skills.
Excellent Oral and written skills.
Ability to travel up to 50%.
