Summary
The primary role for the Truck Driver / Material Handler is loading, unloading, and transporting materials and finished products safely to meet customer demand and meet on time delivery. This position requires a self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic and a desire to perform the duties to the highest standard.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Regular and punctual attendance at work is an essential job function of each position and is necessary to your individual effectiveness and that of your work group. Regular and punctual attendance is required of all employees.
Transports material throughout plant using proper equipment and/or crane for producing, finishing, packaging, or shipping the customer product.
Ensures departments are supplied with parts.
Moves and stages material as scheduled for optimum efficiency.
Provides Building support by transporting materials and ensuring lines are cleared of finished product.
Load finished product for shipment
Follows Packing Slips in order to match product with proper packaging and skidding
Performs miscellaneous tasks throughout plant to ensure safe, efficient and quality production of materials.
Transports Paperwork to Proper Location
General housekeeping duties throughout the plant-s yards.
Continued Communication and updates of schedule changes
Other duties as assigned.
Required Experience
Class A CDL Required
Must have a positive attitude and a desire to continually improve
Preferred Experience
Knowledge of Heavy Hauling Logistics
Heavy Equipment Experience
Organization and attention to detail
Basic math skills
6 months of previous logistics experience
Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic
Standard safety training

Must be physically able to access all areas of the plant and grounds.
Some aspects of this position may require working in tight quarters.
Must be physically able move in and out of equipment
Some aspects of this position may require close vision, depth perception, the ability to see small detail, and the ability to adjust focus.
