COMPASS Anti-Trafficking Coordinator

COMPASS Inc. is seeking an Anti-Trafficking Coordinator to join our team. COMPASS provides services to all survivors of rape and sexual abuse – women, children, men – and their loved ones in Carroll, Tuscarawas, and Stark Counties. Their programs include crisis intervention and advocacy, and education and prevention.

The Anti-Trafficking Coordinator is responsible for program development training and outreach with professionals to promote partnerships. The Coordinator is also responsible for assisting and advocating for safety, healing, justice, and restitution for survivors of human trafficking and sexual assault.

Essential Functions

Facilitate meetings and activities for Tusc Against Trafficking

Provide training, education, and information to other professionals, survivors, and family members about the processes and dynamics of human trafficking and survivor recovery

Participate as a representative of COMPASS in anti-trafficking collaborations

Develop and create print and electronic material including, but not limited to social media content, factsheets, brochures, and other outreach material

Screens and assesses human trafficking victims/survivors for appropriate services.

Provide coverage on the 24-hour crisis hotline as needed. Provide advocacy and support to survivors through hospital advocacy, criminal justice advocacy, and office appointments and walk-ins.

Complete all necessary documentation and reporting forms as required by the agency and funding sources.

Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and practices, as well as safety/security regulations.

Maintain client confidentiality of persons served.

Other duties as assigned.

Basic Requirements:

Bachelors Degree in social work, human services, or related field preferred

Must have drivers license and automotive insurance, must regularly provide proof of valid auto insurance

Ability to work with moderate supervision

Must be able to perform physical requirements of the position including but not limited to inside sedentary work. Frequent forward, horizontal reach at a desk and occasional stair climbing, stooping/bending, lifting/carrying up to 20 pounds, and walking approximately 60 feet. Occasional standing during court hearings and medical exams

Background checks, including FBI, BCII, and employment verifications are required.
