The Bunge Engineering Internship Program is looking for collaborative results oriented candidates with strongcritical thinking and communication skills. The internship is designed to give you an understanding of theoperations and processes of businesses across Bunges value chain. During the internship, you will receive crossfunctional exposure to a number of Bunges business units while performing various operational (e.g. grain elevator, grain milling, packaging, oilseed crush/refine operations and/or engineering) functions. You will develop the skills and knowledge needed to provide a solidfoundation in all aspects of operational processes.
Location to be determined based off current business needs, you would be placed at one of our crush/refine, milling, packaging, or grain elevator facilities.Ability and willingness to relocate for the duration of the internship is required.
Winter Work Term – Approximately 12-16 week long
Main Accountabilities:
Participate fully in the day to day operation of a Bunge facility
Develop a thorough understanding of plant operations
Demonstrate your level of understanding by responding to verbal or written inquiries from supervisors, mentors,
or program manager
Travel to other Bunge locations for training and exposure purposes
Assist location and corporate staff in evaluating changing operational conditions
Ability to communicate effectively with Bunge internal and external customers
Education/Experience:
Pursuing a Bachelors degree in Engineering from a four year accredited college or university, Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, Agricultural Engineering, Milling Science strongly preferred
Must be collaborative, results oriented and possess strong critical thinking skills
Ability to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, adversity, and constant change
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Analytical problem solving skills
Proficiency in standard PC applications
Standard internships hours 8 AM – 5 PM subject to modification as required by assignment and/or location
Ability to travel
