Position: Part-Time STNA Instructor

Job Objective:
The STNA Instructor is responsible for instructing adult students to perform successfully as State Tested Nurse Aides and to supervise clinical experiences according to Ohio Department of Health guidelines.
Minimum Job Qualifications:
– Valid State Department of Education certificate (Can be obtained after intent to hire)
– Possess a current Ohio License as an RN or LPN.
– RNs must have 2 years experience in caring for the elderly or chronically ill through employment in a long term care facility, home health care agency, or hospital
– LPNs must have 2 years experience in a long-term care facility.
– Meets all mandated health requirements (e.g. a negative tuberculosis test, etc.)
– A record free of criminal violations that would prohibit public school employment.
– Complies with drug-free workplace rules and board policies.
– Keeps current with technology and other workplace innovations that support job functions.
– Commitment to keep current with occupational trends and skills deemed essential by employers.
