This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This position is with the ILSC, Field Support Operations Material MGT & FLDG division located in Warren, Michigan. Responsibilities Serves as a senior fielder performing Material Fielding functions and Total Package Fielding (TPF) for Programs within Materiel Fielding and Training and TACOM. Operates as Subject Matter Expert in Standard Army Management Information Systems (STAMIS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems to perform, manage, and track supply and fielding transactions in accordance with Army regulations. Operates as a mission or site lead when identified as the senior or lead fielder/supply specialist for a given mission. Responsible for oversight of fielding management such as setting up a fielding area, manages required support and tools, and manages execution against fielding requirements. Executes de-processing IAW specific Program Manager or manufacturers instructions, performs inventory and transfers property in accordance with established regulations to the Gaining Command/Soldier Provides mission and fielder feedback to team lead and supervisor on all mission elements, develops or provides input to After Action Reviews as needed Performs broad range of supply transactions related to stock movement, requisitioning, status, and availability. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: Your resume must reflect one year of specialized experience which includes: (1) Maintaining property accounts in accordance with regulation and/or manufacturers instructions; (2) Applying laws, regulations, and policies in accordance with regulations in order to sufficiently perform and manage supply and/or fielding transactions; and (3) Working with supply programs to provide a variety of logistics support such as: Total Package Fielding (TPF) process, major item delivery, fielding of equipment, new and modernized vehicles and/or support equipment delivery. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone–no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
