Job Title: 3rd Shift CNC Machinist Lathe

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to set up and operate conventional, special purpose, and CNC Machining Centers to fabricate metallic and nonmetallic parts. This position is specifically for the 3rd Shift (Sun – Thursday) from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity. The ideal candidate will have experience setting up machines from scratch, performing fixture changes, and conducting basic preventative maintenance. This role does not require programming skills. Pay ranges from $21-$26/hr with a $3/hr shift premium for 2nd and 3rd shifts. All shifts are currently open with minimal overtime required. Bi-weekly pay schedule.

Operate CNC machines to produce production parts and assemblies

Operate manual machines such as saws, mills, and lathes

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Grand Haven, Michigan.

Work Environment

Clean medium size CNC shop with 80 employees across all three shifts. Two buildings house the Mills and Lathes respectively.
