Teachers and Teacher Assistants

New Daycare center in New Hartford, NY. Teachers and Assistant Teacher job duties:
-Maintain records of progress and attendance
-assist with mealtime and snack time
-assist with toileting
-conduct safety drills
-maintain qualifications set by Office of Children and Family Services, including all training and —–certification requirements
-engage in storytelling, music, and arts and crafts
-designing and implementing learning activities that stimulate a childs physical, emotional , -intellectual and social growth
-keep accurate logs as required by OCFS
-all other tasks as designated by Executive Director, Supervisor, or licensor

There will be mandatory hours of training prerequisite and continuing education required by ocfs, preemployment background checks including finger printing must be done, and a ppd/mantu shot is required

Daycare teachers will be paid $18-19.50
Daycare teacher assistants will be $15 -$16.00
