Paid CNA Training Classes are offered 7 times a year. Classes fill up very fast! Apply Today! We pay you $17.00 an hour while in the class!!

Classes are 4 weeks long, Monday-Friday 7:00 am-3:30 pm and held at The Living Centers in Geneva.

At the conclusion of the class, students will take a written and clinical test to become Certified Nursing Assistants. Once certified, CNAs will work at Huntington Living Center, a Skilled Nursing Facility located in Waterloo NY.

You must apply for the CNA training program. If qualified, you will be offered a spot in the class and a FT position, as a CNA at Huntington Living Center.

CNA Trainees may also start out as a Unit Helper, assisting on the units at Huntington Living Center prior to the start of the class.

CNA Shifts include a choice of Day/Eve Rotations, Day/Night Rotations, Eve, Night

Requirements:

Minimum: Must be able to read and write English Minimum Certification: Current New York State Nurse Aide Certification.

Preferred: High school degree or GED/ Prior Nursing Assistant and/or LTC experience

Salary Range: $18.44-$20.87

POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the direction of the licensed nursing personnel, performs direct and indirect designated resident care within the scope of practice as defined by the certification.

Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and ability to deal with the public in a professional and courteous manner.

Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities and enhance the spirit of teamwork through effective role modeling.
