Employment Solutions is seeking hard-working candidates to join our Westfield, PA Clients team! As part of this team, you will be part of manufacturing medical equipment to be used in routine and life-saving situations.
Main Purpose of Job: This entry-level position requires little or no prior experience. The Production Operator is responsible for producing, assembling, inspecting, and packaging parts according to specific work instructions. You will maintain all necessary paperwork and documentation in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Main Job Responsibilities:
1. Machine Operation: Operate machines to maintain productivity, efficiency, and product quality.
2. Safety First: Prioritize safety by ensuring compliance with all safety measures and procedures, including maintaining good housekeeping practices.
3. Policy Adherence: Follow all company policies and procedures consistently.
4. Quality Inspection: Perform visual inspections and testing to ensure all products meet established quality standards.
5. Data Reporting: Collect and report data; coordinate with mold technicians or maintenance for any machine errors.
6. Part Separation: Visually examine parts to separate them from runners, checking for defects such as flow lines, long gates, shorts, splaying, and flash. Trim and clip excess plastic from parts as needed.
7. Material Handling: Retrieve bins of parts from shelves located under injection molding machines.
8. Break Relief: Provide relief for coworkers during breaks as directed by the supervisor.
9. Packaging: Package parts in bags, totes, or boxes as applicable to specific plant requirements.
10. Documentation: Complete all required paperwork accurately in accordance with GMP standards.
11. Team Collaboration: Be flexible and promote teamwork in all activities.
12. Sample Handling: Pack and pull samples for customers and Quality Control as required.
13. Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned to support the companys Vision, Mission, and Values.
Expectations:
– Develop skills to perform basic, repetitive, and manual tasks efficiently.
– Utilize existing procedures to solve straightforward problems.
– Take the initiative to advance to the Operator II level.
– Maintain a clean record free of disciplinary actions.
Requirements:
– Education/Certification: High School Diploma or GED (preferred).
Shift and Hours:
Hourly pay is $16-20/hr
– Sun-Tuesday then every other Wednesday 7a-7p
– Sun-Tuesday then every other Wednesday 7p-7a
– Thurs-Saturday then every other Wednesday 7a-7p
– Thurs-Saturday then every other Wednesday 7p-7a
