The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) provides consultation, training, conductsbehavioral evaluations, develops and implements Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)programmatic therapeutic services, and develops behavior intervention plans forindividuals with developmental disabilities and behavioral deficits. The BoardCertified Behavior Analyst acts as a program supervisor who educates, observes,assesses, and supervises behavioral service delivery in a clinic, home, orother setting.

Minimum Requirements:
Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
Master’s degree in applied behavior analysis, teaching, or related field.
Preferred experience providing behavior analytic programs and services.
Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
Participation and completion of Amergis’ Competency program when applicable.
Current CPR if applicable.
TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray if applicable.
Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements.
Successful completion of new hire training as applicable to job site.
Understand patient confidentiality and HIPAA requirements.
Ability to effectively elicit/provide information to and from appropriate individuals (including, but not limited to, supervisors, co-workers, clients) via strong communication skills; proficiency in the English language is required.
Computer proficiency required.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Location: Merced, CA
Work Hours: Full-Time,40 hours per week
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Position Overview: This full-time position involves working with students in6th to 8th grade, with a diverse caseload that includes both special educationand general education students. You will play a critical role in developing andimplementing behavioral intervention plans, providing training to InstructionalAssistants (IA), and ensuring that students receive the support they need tosucceed.
50% of caseload will have an IEP
General BCBA work, some IA staff training

Key Responsibilities:
Manage a caseload of 18-20 students, with potential to grow up to 45 students.
Work with a mix of SPED and general education students.
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for approximately 50% of the caseload.
Conduct functional behavior assessments and design behavior intervention plans.
Provide training and support to Instructional Assistants (IA) on behavioral strategies and interventions.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff to support student success.
Monitor and evaluate student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary.
