Job Title: Journeyman-Level Maintenance Technician

Job Description

This opportunity is with a high-precision manufacturer producing products for the Aerospace, Medical, and Energy industries. We pride ourselves on delivering very high-quality products used in high-stakes environments. We are seeking a journeyman-level maintenance technician to join our team. The work involves installing, maintaining, modifying, and repairing manufacturing equipment, including metal die-casting machines, plastic molding machines, CNC machines, HVAC systems, and more.

Hard Skills

Journeyman-level expertise in at least one specialty area of the skilled crafts trade (electrical, fabrication, machining, hydraulics/pneumatics, HVAC, or production machinery repair)

Maintaining, adjusting, troubleshooting, repairing, and installing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic/pneumatic, HVAC, and other equipment

Installing, maintaining, adjusting, and repairing production fixtures

Maintaining and repairing electrical systems of plastic molds

Performing safety inspections of the fire sprinkler system

Building remodeling and repair

Performing safety checks of compressed air and gas heating systems

Operating and repairing various forklifts

Setting up and operating a full range of shop equipment and machines, working to close tolerances, and using appropriate standard and specialized measuring and testing instruments

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Clackamas, Oregon.

Work Environment

Clean, organized aerospace parts manufacturing company. Day shift: 7am-3:30pm M-F with some OT.
