Summary:
As the Accounts Payable Clerk, you are responsible for accounts payable functions, assisting with managing and controlling financial and accounting systems. You will also process and account for all invoices. Support all office administration functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Full cycle two- and three-way match
Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment
Reconciles processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balance
Ensures credit is received for outstanding memos
Prioritize invoices according to cash discount potential and payment terms.
Reconcile vendor statements, research, and correct discrepancies
Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately
Utilizes computerized accounting software programs (AS400, APC, Excel, and Word) to perform duties and responsibilities.
Maintains vendor relationships.
Will assist with other general office tasks
Perform other duties, as assigned.
What you Bring to Pacific Seafood:
Required
High school diploma/GED equivalent
Preferred
Two or more years related office experience preferred
Degree/Certifications in accounting, finance, or related field a plus
