Transit Driver

Requirements: At least eighteen (18) years of age. Valid driver
license with clean driving record (record will be checked by employer).
Pass background check, pre-employment and random drug screening
(Checked by employer). Available to work flexible schedule including
evenings, Saturdays, and short notice fill-in shifts. Preferences:
CDL endorsement and experience operating larger vehicle. Previous
public transit experience. Job Duties: Responsible for transporting
elderly, persons with disabilities and general public riders.
Responsible for the safety of persons while they are on the vehicle, and
while they are entering or leaving the vehicle. Maintain records on
the number/type of passengers, miles driven, gas and oil used. Assist
passengers with their carry-on items on and off the vehicle as needed.
Responsible for fueling, routine checks, and keeping the vehicle
interior clean. Other duties as assigned. Wage: $16.83 – $22.06
per hour, plus $1.00 increase for valid CDL with passenger endorsement.
Benefits package dependent on full or part time status. Schedule:
Full time Driver 30 hours per week. Part time Driver 20 to 29 hours
per week. Days and hours to be arranged by employer.
