Pay Type: Exempt / Salary paid Twice Per Month

Annual Salary Pay: $65,000 – $70,000 per year based on experience

Schedule: Monday through Friday 6:00 am – 2:30 pm. Additional hours and days as needed to support operational needs.

Summary

Under the responsibility of the Manager, the Supervisor Logistics is responsible to supervise, coordinate and oversee the logistics operations and provide coaching, development and training to the staff members. The successful candidate must be able to provide recommendations for improvements to the facility, equipment, machinery, and processes. They will be accountable that the staff is performing to standard and has to ensure that progress is made to achieve the business objectives.

Essential Functions

Create batches of orders (waves) and releases to the floor based on priority levels, order types and ability to batch SKUs that are alike

Monitor released wave progress through the pick, QA, Post Pick, and Ship process, communicating with the respective functional Supervisor of any delays in processing

Ensure Replenishment and requirements are communicated and required action is taken in timely fashion

Ensure workload balance needs are reflected in the waves built and any load-balancing actions are communicated to the Supervisors in a proactive fashion

Research and resolve short allocation orders to resolution

Create dashboard management reports relating to wave cycle times, SLA performance and backorders

Provide feedback to Supervisors on issues impacting outbound order flow

Investigate and resolve workflow issues

Receive and manage order routing changes and edits from the company’s order desk and Customer Service

Force close waves when required and communicate proactively to the affected Supervisors

Monitor and respond to emails and phone calls in a timely manner

Qualifications

H.S. diploma/GED required

One (1) year or more experience in transportation, warehouse or distribution environment preferred

0 to One (1) year direct supervisory/leadership experience required

Compensation Information :

The compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience; education, including relevant degrees or certifications; work location; market data/ranges; internal equity; internal salary ranges; etc.

Compensation ranges for the position are below:

Minimum Pay Range:

65000

Maximum Pay Range:

70000

The position may also be eligible to receive an annual bonus, commission, and/or long-term incentive plan based on the level and/or type.
