RN – Cardiac Imaging Clinic

Description

Performs a variety of tasks in providing quality patient care to pediatric client and provide parent education. These tasks include but are not limited to patient histories, physical examinations and management of health within the designated scope of practice. Populations served are children birth to three years of age who have been drug and/or alcohol exposed in utero. Referrals are limited to children who qualify for services and are referred by Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) This is a state grant funded program and requires compliance with all requirements of contract.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree BS Nursing.

Upon hire: Washington Registered Nurse License

Upon hire: National Provider BLS – American Heart Association

Experience working with pediatric population.

Parent education.

Preferred Qualifications:

Coursework/Training Addictions or chemical dependency.

Upon hire: ARNP with certifications in family practice or pediatrics

Upon hire: Promoting First Relationships

Upon hire: Motivational Interviewing

Infants exposed to drug or alcohol in utero.
