GENERAL SUMMARY
Provide engineering service and support to performing basic tasks requiring basic application of engineering fundamentals in support of the design modification, operation and independent assessment of Energy Northwest facilities.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
o Perform basic analysis and designs in support of systems, programs and projects.
o Perform problem resolution via plant process.
o Assist in audits, test and inspections. Use engineering judgment in evaluating results or findings.
Apply judgment in selecting and applying engineering methods with supervisor or peer oversight; must operate within schedule constraints and regulatory requirements. Complete tasks and assignments on schedule; ensure compliance with regulatory and Energy Northwest procedures and policies; coordinate with other disciplines.
Engineering employees are expected to be available and to support the following activities as a condition of employment with Energy Northwest:
•Emergency Response Organization (ERO) including being on-call (24/7) during your required team duty (2 weeks out of every 8 weeks).
•12 hour work shifts during outages as part of our overall Outage support (24/7) including Outage Command Center and Engineering Outage Center
•Engineering duty cycle support (24/7) including call-out availability during your responsible duty assignment.(This is a shared responsibility across all engineering positions).
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university or a PE license obtained by accredited examination and zero to three years of discipline engineering experience.
A high school diploma or GED is required.
Pay Range
$78,354.00 – $117,530.00 Annual
Midpoint:
$97,942.00
Typically, selected candidates are hired between the minimum and midpoint of the range, based on applicable experience and qualifications, market rate, internal equity, and budgetary allowances.
Offers will be negotiated based on each candidates qualifications.
Incentive Compensation
This role may be eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan. Incentives are earned based on employee performance against defined metrics and company goals.
