Summary You will serve as a MANAGEMENT ASSISTANT in the Supply Management Department of NAVSUP FLT LOGISTICS CNTR JACKSONVILLE. #LI-NAVSUPFLCJ Responsibilities You will perform fact finding by reviewing data and conducting interviews and surveys. You will review and analyze data while checking for errors, discrepancies, and inconsistencies which you will report to management. You will recommend corrective actions and methods to improve workflow. You will track Material Handling Equipment (MHE) inventory and serve as the Purchase Request creator. You will collect, review, evaluate, and interpret data and enter data into automated systems for data retention and future analysis. You will use Microsoft Office applications to prepare and create spreadsheets, reports, correspondence, and presentations. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Gathering, organizing, and maintaining information and determining its importance and accuracy using knowledge of policy and program operations and communicating those findings though a variety of methods including correspondence, presentations, and briefings, to management. Examples of specialized experience include: 1) Analyzing inventory data for trends to identify and describe recurring problems that contribute to deviation from management goals; 2) Applying basic data gathering methods such as interviewing or surveying to collect factual information; 3) Using automated systems, such as Naval Aviation Logistics Command Management Information (NALCOMIS), Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP), Financial Audit Compliance Enhancement Tool (FACET), or Document Automation Content Services (DACS) to assist in material processing and error reconciliation; 4) Reviewing inventory, audit, and warehouse data for completeness and accuracy.
