Scope of Position:
Ensure the proper and timely movement of freight and information, while complying with internal and external requirements and providing exceptional customer service.
Major Duties and Responsibilities may include the following:
Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers
Adherence to Operational Process Standards
Daily tracking of shipments and corresponding documents
Work with the team to provide solutions to customers
Comply with customer requirements and procedures
Proactively communicate timely status updates to customers
Communicate with international and domestic customers and offices
Update shipment information in the Expeditors system
Track and trace international cargo
Timely settlement of shipments and filing of Tariffs
Preparation of reports, as required
Prepare and process international documentation
Comply with US and foreign regulations
Skills, Knowledge and Behavior:
Effective verbal and written communications skills
Strong organizational and prioritizing skills
Experience with Microsoft Office Applications
Displayed ability to work independently
Excellent attendance practices
Attention to detail, curiosity, professionalism, integrity, sense of humor
Global geographic knowledge and multi-lingual abilities are always desired
