Basic Job Functions:
Nucor Steel Brandenburg is seeking qualified applicants for a hybrid position of Claims Administrator & Inside Sales Representative. The successful candidate will manage customer accounts and facilitate the acceptance and processing of customer claims for both quality and accounts receivable. Key responsibilities include:
Providing responsive service and building strong customer relationships with an emphasis on commercial excellence.
Entering accurate orders, proactive problem-solving, and effective communication between customers and operations, shipping, credit, and metallurgy.
Coordinating efforts to resolve claims with customers, metallurgists, sales, and accounts receivable teams. Working with field claim buyers to resell claimed material while maximizing profitability.
Managing inventory levels and working with the scheduler to ensure efficient production.
Serving as the main point of contact for customers and handling various aspects involved with customer accounts.
Assisting in all functions of customer service as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:
5 years customer service or Bachelors degree
Willingness for occasional travel
Ability to work scheduled / unscheduled overtime
Preferred Qualifications:
4- year degree in Business Administration or related field.
Familiarity with the manufacturing process, product characteristics and customer base Knowledge of basic accounting
Comprehension of inventory control
