Job Description

Job Summary

General accounting tasks for tracking, processing, and payment of invoices for services or goods purchased from vendors. Responsibilities include ensures all disbursements are made under good financial controls while maximizing cash flow opportunities.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Provides support to payables team leaders in training team members to optimize performance.

Acts as lead for payables team (all aspects, excluding direct supervisory duties) to ensure timely completion of payables deliverables.

Develops and maintain monthly status reporting for management.

Assists management in development and documentation of area process improvement

Performs financial analytics for payables team, including: in-depth research and analysis, creating and executing SQL queries, and resolving processing errors independently.

Job Qualifications

Required Education

Associates Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

Required Experience

3-5 years

Preferred Education

Bachelors degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or a similar field

Preferred Experience

5-7 Years
