Applicant will be responsible for fieldwork involving Industrial Hygiene materials testing, air sampling, quantification, and analysis. The qualified applicant will then be responsible for interpreting the analysis results and applying them to a technical report for client submittal.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Project Manager for Industrial Hygiene and Building Sciences projects.

Manage current projects from proposal through the final invoice stages.

Provide mentoring and work assignments to support staff in execution of fieldwork and project deliverables.

Technical review and support for client deliverables

Contact/meet with existing clients.

Conduct site investigations at large industrial sites and/or housing complexes.

Management of abatement and/or remediation projects to include all associated tasks

Assist in and support business development opportunities.

Minimum Requirements:

BS in related science field

Minimum 5-15 years of experience to include work related Industrial Hygiene or Building Sciences.

Minimum of 1 years supervisory experience

Experience with implementation and supervision of health and safety requirements

Must possess outstanding problem solving and report writing/editing skills

Familiar with relevant sampling methods, techniques, chain of custody requirements, and sample shipment requirements.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently

Technical Requirements:

Efficient in Excel, Word, PDF, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.

Experience with technical report writing, air sampling techniques, asbestos bulk sampling, and fungal swab and air sampling

Knowledge of general Industrial Hygiene state of the art techniques, Knowledge of all applicable state of Ohio and federal regulations pertaining to asbestos and sampling and reporting

OEPA Certified Asbestos Hazard Evaluation Specialist License

OEPA Certified Asbestos Hazard Project Designer License

NIOSH 582 course completion is considered a plus

ODH Lead Risk Assessor License

ODH Radon Tester License

Out of State Licensure is considered a plus

Other miscellaneous qualities:

Ability to travel, up to 80% of the time (locally)
