JOB PURPOSE:

As our People & Culture Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting our DRB team members and contributing to a high performing workplace. You will assist with various People & Culture functions, including talent acquisition, onboarding, team member engagement, and transactional support. Essential Duties

Team Member Inquiries:

As a member of the HR Desk team, serve as a first point of contact for team member inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, and workplace concerns

Provide timely and accurate information, escalating issues when necessary

Help facilitate conflict resolution and mediate discussions between team members as needed

Recruitment Support:

Assist in posting job openings in UKG, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews

Screen incoming resumes and applications, identifying qualified candidates for interviews

Support scheduling and coordinate interviews with candidates and hiring managers, ensuring an exceptional candidate experience

Maintain an organized database of applicants and track the status of recruitment efforts

Create offer letters in UKG and outside UKG

Onboarding:

Own the onboarding process for new hires in UKG

Collaborate with hiring managers to ensure an immersion plan is created and all necessary equipment and resources are ready for new team members on their first day

Conduct new hire orientations, providing an overview of company culture and processing I-9 documents

Team Member Events & Engagement:

Assist in planning and executing team member engagement initiatives, such as team-building activities and recognition programs

Conduct surveys and collect feedback to assess team member satisfaction and identify areas for improvement

Help coordinate company-wide events, such as wellness programs, holiday celebrations, and diversity initiatives

Transactional Support:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date team member records in UKG including job changes, new hire, and termination

Prepare reports from UKG on People & Culture metrics, such as turnover rates and recruitment statistics, to support data-driven decision-making

Assist with payroll preparation and documentation, ensuring timely and accurate processing.

Assistance with Training Programs:

Coordinate logistics for training sessions, including booking locations, preparing materials, tracking attendance, and assist in developing training materials

Gather feedback from participants to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and suggest improvements

SUPERVISORY RESPONSBILITIES:

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities but does serve as a coach and mentor for other positions in the department.

REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a bachelor’s degree in human resources, a related field, or commensurate experience

Must have excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills

Must have proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Preference for candidates who have previous internship or 1-2yrs experience

Preference for candidates who have knowledge or experience with UKG

Skill Sets:

Must have good time management and decision-making skills

Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Must have a growth mindset and learning agility
