Job Description
We are looking to identify the next Director of Pharmacy for one of our top clients in Illinois. They are one of the largest and most advanced cancer treatment organizations in the US. This Director will oversee a large team of local leaders, Pharmacists and Pharm Techs. Additionally this person will plan, direct, and coordinate the activities of the Pharmacy Department to ensure safe, appropriate, cost-effective pharmacy services while meeting all legal, accreditation and certification requirements. Specifically responsible for overseeing all medication storage and preparation occurring in the pharmacy. Responsible for the This person will have oversight of staffing and operational costs, development of local service and clinical programs, fostering and maintaining relationships with hospital and Enterprise leadership, and local vendor relationship management in accordance with established policies and regulatory standards. This position offers an extremely competitive salary, relocation support, sign on bonus as well as bonus!

Skills and Requirements
-5 years pharmacy experience
-3 years in-patient hospital pharmacy experience
-Oncology pharmacy experience
– Minimum of 2 years in role-supervising experience
– Graduate of an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy (RPh or Pharm D) License in good standing as issued by the State of Illinois Board Pharmacy null
