Job Description
Lift raw materials either manually or by using a lifting device to position & secure materials on a machine table or in a fixture. Use precision measuring instruments to check finished workpiece dimensions and ensure conformance to specifications. Fill out inspection sheets as instructed. Monitor and change tooling as needed. Make offsets on the machine to keep parts conforming. Maintain cleanliness and functionality of machines, tools, parts, and work areas. Add oil and cutting fluid as needed. Correct safety hazards when recognized and able; report to supervisor if unable to correct. Other duties as assigned.
4 Years of experience
Experience with CNC programming preferred.
Experience running 4-axis and 5-axis CNCs.
Experience machining castings.
Experience building fixtures.
Experience running sample and PPAP orders.
Able to quickly read and interpret customer blueprints.
Meticulous attention to detail.
Can run multiple projects simultaneously.
