## Position Overview
The Illinois Department of Children and Family Services is seeking an
organized, energetic individual to serve as XXX Region Facilities
Manager. Under direction, this position will travel to regional
facilities and coordinate building requirements. The position will
investigate complaints regarding environment and Department of Labor
Occupational Safety and Health Standards and evaluate and resolve such
complaints. The position will support the direction of the regions
Property Control Program and instruct staff on Agency policy, rules, and
regulations pertaining to property and facilities management. The
position will also serve as working supervisor of subordinate clerical
staff. This position provides a great opportunity for someone who is

## Essential Functions
– Serves as NortherRegion Facilities Manager
– Supports the direction of the regions Property Control Program and
instructs staff on Agency policy, rules, and regulations
– Serves as working supervisor
– Works closely with the Agencys Security Systems Coordinator to
ensure the regions compliance with Agency safety standards
– Provides input into the evaluation and implementation of the Agencys
goals for meeting and maintaining Council on Accreditation standards
which are specifically related to the management of facilities,
equipment, and record keeping.
– Organizes goals and objectives for the distribution/delivery of
internal and inter-office mail delivery for the region
– Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably
within the scope of the duties enumerated above.

appropriate, valid drivers license.
Requires ability to respond to after-hours requests regarding facility
issues.
