Spectrum Plastics Master
Troubleshoot and maintain all process and production equipment as well as general building maintenance.
Repair and maintain plant process, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Design, implement and manage preventative maintenance programs for all mechanical equipment.
Install new equipment according to manufacturer specifications and management requirements.
Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt.
Work directly with engineers, machinists, assemblers, & machine operators
Conduct general upkeep procedures and other tasks as assigned
Qualifications
Requirements
Excellent mechanical aptitude
Familiar with electrical aspects and troubleshooting electronics
Ability to read blueprints and assembly instructions provided by manufacturers
Read, write, and understand English
Read interpret instructional electrical, hydraulic, and process systems drawings.
Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
Prior background in manufacturing maintenance and plastics manufacturing a strong plus.
Good troubleshooting skills coupled with a strong work ethic.
Knowledge of PLC systems and control systems is a plus.
Self-starter with willingness to perform other related duties as required
Able to work overtime as required
High school diploma or GED
Certificate in relevant expertise areas such as electrical, mechanical and/or other areas is a plus
Work Experience:
3-6 years of industrial maintenance or a similar environment performing comparable tasks as required for this position.
