Job Description Summary
The Database Administrator is an essential member of the team, supporting the management and maintenance of both production and non-production databases. This role contributes to the standards and practices for physical data storage, maintenance, access, and security administration. This position involves handling routine issues and working under supervision to gain in-depth knowledge of variable factors.
Detailed Responsibilities
Assist in performing backups and recovery on Database Management Systems under supervision.
Help configure database parameters and prototype designs against logical data models under guidance.
Support multiple services and databases of medium complexity with supervision, ensuring control, integrity, and accessibility of the data.
Assist in responding to requests from other teams, learning to influence the departments strategy through technical support for project components.
Help maintain the health of databases and implement change tickets under supervision.
Interact with internal teams such as Developers, Data Engineers, Product Owners, providing support on database changes and learning best practices.
Participate in an on-call rotation schedule under mentorship to ensure continuous support.
Gain experience in a big job scheduling environment-active batch.
Support engagements with SQL databases and learn through involvement in the implementation of contracts.
Work in agile environments, supporting data teams and data warehouse systems under guidance.
Learn and contribute to the modernization and optimization of SQL servers.
Required Qualifications
Must be a US Citizen.
Bachelors degree in a technical field is preferred or an equivalent technical training.
2-5 years of relevant work experience
2 or more years of experience with SQL servers
Eagerness to learn project support and data management.
Interest in integrating new technologies and supporting technologies with organizational impact.
Enthusiasm for contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus.
Interest in the healthcare industry.
Willingness to pursue certifications like CISA, CISM, CRISC, CISSP in the future.

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.$78,800 – $108,500 per yearThis job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
