Logistics Analyst
KBR is seeking a Logistics Analyst to join our team in Lexington Park, MD.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide support to functional logistics personnel, to include coordination, activation, implementation, and support of all product support elements including contractual evolutions for United States Navy aircraft Combat Identification (CID) Systems, with a focus on modified and new aircraft CID systems that are planned to enter service in the near future. Assist functional logistics personnel to review and provide comments on CID system Logistics Documentation, Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Engineering Change Requests (ECRs), and Allowance Parts Lists (APLs). Perform various tasks related to the development, operation, evaluation, and improvement of weapon systems supportability and/or maintainability programs and information systems. Perform analyses on logistics and maintainability programs and with logistics and maintenance control organizations on issues such as: technical evaluation and identification of weapons systems logistics requirements and resources; development of logistics support and maintainability programs or plans; systems acquisition requirements analysis; budgetary or financial analysis and control; life cycle cost analysis and control; weapons systems hardware and software standardization and compatibility; Integrated Product Support (IPS)/Reliability & Maintainability (R&M) program test and evaluation planning and execution; and, IPS/R&M program management analysis. Collect, compile, analyzes investigate, research, or apply logistics, maintenance, acquisition, or financial data and information. Develops modify, prepare, or validate documentation in relation to automated logistics or maintenance data reporting systems, and management information systems.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Clearance & Citizenship: Must be a US citizen with a DoD Secret security clearance.
Education & Substitutions: BS or BA degree. An additional five (5) years of acquisition or operational logistics management experience may be substituted for a BS or BA degree.
Years of Experience: At least six (6) years of experience in operational logistics support/maintenance engineering or Demonstrated Master Logistician (DML) which includes at least 3 years of recent experience in acquisition logistics/maintenance engineering, technical analysis of operational ILS requirements, and operational logistics planning.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Integrated Product Support and/or active duty operational logistics experience of the following systems: AN/UPX-29(V) Interrogator System, OE-120/UPX Shipboard IFF Antenna, AN/UPX-24(V) Interrogator Set, AN/UPX-41/45C Digital Interrogator, AN//APX-123(V) Common Digital Transponder, AN/UPX-41C Digital Interrogator, USM-719 CID Ship Test Set, APX-111 CIT Combined Interrogator Transponder, APX-118(V) Common Transponder, APX-123(V) Common Digital Transponder and the Micro-Transponder.
Highly proficient with the Microsoft Professional Office Suite including Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, Power Point, and Project; detailed oriented; well-developed written and oral communication skills; ability to read, write and review technical documents, reports and drawings; ability to track and report status of assigned tasking, ability to assess established business processes, identify/document business process problems and recommend business process improvement initiatives; strong team building skills and ability to develop and coordinate with a highly agile and integrated network of team members required to successfully perform assigned tasking.
Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 hours/week
Compensation: $81,190-122,340. The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
Additional Compensation: KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of a sign-on bonus, relocation benefits, short-term incentives, long-term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
