Our dynamic growth and continued success have created an opportunity for a Civil Engineer/Project Manager to become an important part of our well-established technical group in our Sarasota, FL office. We are looking for a talented individual possessing drive, adaptability, humility, intelligence, team-ability, curiosity, and emotional strength to help drive the success of our team.

This opportunity offers numerous project challenges for an Engineer to apply their technical understanding and application of engineering principles and practices to a variety of multi-discipline civil projects throughout SW Florida.

Job duties include project engineering and management. Client management, including ability to make fluent presentations, and client development activities. Good communication skills and a proven track record in successfully interacting with clients and internal team members is necessary.

Provide project engineering and task management; conduct collection systems modeling and design; collect and present data in reports, memos, and meetings; lead design calculations and technical reports; and preparation of engineering plans and specifications for design of facilities and related infrastructure.

The ability to serve as a technical resource for a multi-disciplined team.

Work independently in addition to planning, organizing, and assisting professionals, dependent on project/task.

Assist with training and mentoring of less experienced staff.

Conduct planning, plan formulation and concept development.

Assist in project permitting efforts with various regulatory and municipal entities.

In order to be considered for our Civil Engineer/Project Manager position, we are seeking candidates who possess the following basic qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Civil engineering.

Master’s degree preferred.

Minimum of 5 years of technical experience in civil projects, stormwater systems, water quality, storm water collection systems, and pipeline design. Candidates with additional experience are encouraged to apply.

Professional Engineer registration in FL.

Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Project management experience is required.
