Duties:

Handles all of the court process papers for St. Joseph County, Indiana.

Serve Civil Process Papers Summons/Subpoena/Evictions/Repossessions/

Restraining orders and Properties of Executions for all Courts.

Perform related duties as assigned.

Will need to have a valid Drivers license to deliver papers through outSt. Joseph County.

Working Knowledge of County Court system, processes and legal

Terminology, with ability to effectively assist attorneys and Judges with preparation of legal documents as directed.

Working knowledge of standard English grammar, spelling, punctuation and the ability to fill out different forms of legal documents.

Ability to find addresses in all of St. Joseph County, and maintain confidentiality of Department information and records according to State Requirements.

Shall comply with all employer and department policies and work rules.
