Job Description/Preferred Qualifications
In this role:
Main responsibilities will be performing electromagnetic simulations and developing next-generation solvers.
Candidate must be able to work within a small team environment, work with outside contractors, consultants.
Provide effectivepresentation and written evaluations to internal customers to show capabilities of the product concept.
Interface with customers to understand the requirement of their needs.
Feedback on product performance and market gaps back to the marketing and engineering teams.
This candidate must work closely with other internal development programs within KLA.
Qualifications
Doctorate (Academic) in the physical sciences or engineering with at least 2 years of experience.
Strong background in applied mathematics and electromagnetics.
Proficient in numerical simulations, preferably in computational electromagnetics.
Strong background in computer programming, especially in performance profiling, memory optimization, and parallel computing.
Proficient in C and python, especially in writing production-quality, object-oriented code.
Experience in semiconductors (electrical properties, manufacturing, and metrology) is a plus.
Ability and willingness to travel worldwide to support projects at customer sites is a plus.
Minimum QualificationsDoctorate (Academic) Degree and 0 years related work experience; Masters Level Degree and related work experience of 3 years; Bachelors Level Degree and related work experience of 5 years
