About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Commercial Banking Chief Administration Office (CAO) Lead Control Management Officer within the Commercial Banking Control organization. This role is responsible for supporting the CAO line of business.

In this role, you will:

As the responsible Business Control Manager, you will support a specific CAO business unit to implement and execute required controls in an effective, sustainable manner and help identify, escalate, and proactively manage risks and issues in the Line of Business (LOB).

Continuously engage in discussions with LOB partners on strategy, industry trends, and new/modified markets, systems, products, and services to determine impact and identify and remediate risk and control issues across all risk types.

Collaborate with, guide, and counsel LOB partners on control design and implementation to mitigate risks.

Collaborate with, guide, and counsel LOB process and control owners on identifying where controls reside, managing control changes and evaluating effectiveness.

Help ensure proper LOB profiles of applicable regulations and associated controls as well as residual risks and compensating controls are maintained and continuously updated in appropriate systems of record.

Support our focus on building strong customer relationships balanced with a strong risk mitigating and compliance-driven culture which firmly establishes those disciplines as critical to the success of our customers and company.

Ensure proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification, and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business units risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.

Required Qualifications:

5 years of Risk Management or Control Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

Process design or improvement experience.

Experience assessing the adequacy of policies, procedures, and processes (includes compliance and operational controls within a large complex organization).

Knowledge and understanding of Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA).

Ability to articulate issues, risks, and proposed solutions to various levels of staff and management.

Ability to implement solutions and communicate, in clear business terms, the benefits of the proposed risk management approach.

Ability to assess issues, make quick decisions, implement solutions, and influence change.

Experience delivering results in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.

Leadership skills including the ability to influence effectively in a matrix environment.

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Proven experience in operational risk management or control functions.

Proven ability to collaborate with all levels of management and functional groups.

Strong sense of ownership of work product, detail oriented and thorough.

Demonstrated organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities and tasks simultaneously.

Sound analytical, critical thinking, open-source research, and problem-solving skills.

Job Expectations:

The selected candidate must be located in one of the listed work locations; this position is expected to work on site 3 or more days per week per Wells Fargos standard operating model.

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$111,100.00 – $197,500.00
