Job Summary:

12:00PM to 8:30PM

Description:

As a Cook in the Dining Services Department, you will ensure high-quality, nutritious food is prepared and served in a safe, efficient manner. Your role involves managing food production, maintaining kitchen standards, and working collaboratively with the dining services team.

Responsibilities:

– Cook and time food to be ready for service, following recipes and maintaining quality.

– Use safe food handling, store items properly, and maintain temperatures.

– Track food usage, temperatures, and inventory.

– Keep the work area clean and manage spills.

– Open/close the kitchen, handle equipment, and communicate needs to supervisors.

Requirements:

– Cooking experience preferred.

– Knowledge of food safety practices.

– Strong organizational and communication skills.

– Ability to work alternating shifts.
