Description Full Time Executive Director l Licensed Nursing Home Administrator, LNHA Ecumen Lakeshore, located at 40th Avenue East and London Road in Duluth, MN, is a trusted name in senior housing and care, with a non-profit legacy spanning 93 years. The Executive Director is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a care center and related business lines. The responsibilities will include staffing, financial management, supervising resident care, marketing and community outreach. Strong knowledge of federal, state and local standards for long term care is essential in this position. Essential Job Responsibilities: Ensures quality of resident care through planning, implementing, evaluating, and delegating authority to appropriate staff to ensure that programs and care are maintained. Prepares budget, and plans, implements and evaluates an integrated financial program with necessary financial controls in order to keep operations within budget. Plans and implements the coordination of recruitment, hiring, training mentorship, retention, and evaluation of staff. Provides leadership in areas of employee and labor relations. Directs and ensures compliance with all required government regulations, (e.g. Federal, State, Local, VA, OSHA, OFCCP, and various licensing agencies). Plans future programs on growth, expansion, building and staffing by identifying objectives through strategic planning. Plans public relations programs to enhance the image of all services in general. – Other duties as assigned. Executive Director Minimum Required Qualifications: Licensure/Certification: Active, unrestricted Licensed Assisted Living Director (LALD), or ability to obtain within 12 months of hire and Nursing Home license (LNHA) in state of assignment or Health Services Executive (HSE) Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field plus completion of additional post-graduate coursework required for Nursing Home Administrator licensure Previous experience in a leadership position Previous senior care experience Licensure/Certification: Nursing Home license in state of assignment Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats, individually and to groups Ability to use Microsoft Suite Ability to follow all safety rules, regulations, policies and procedures of the facility including but not limited to: Vulnerable Adult and Abuse Policy, HIPAA, Residents Bill of Rights, Universal Precaution, AWAIR, OSHA, Right to know, SDS, ADA, HUD Policy and Procedures, Fair Housing laws and regulations Preferred Qualifications: Masters degree in related field Demonstrated Continued Education to maintain license 5 years nursing home site leadership Experience with Budgeting and forecasting as well as strong networking experience Previous experience with non-profit organizations Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities The contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants b cause they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
