RESPONSIBILITIES: Meter Engineering Internship activities may include, but are not limited to, the following proposed projects: Assist engineering staff in designing, maintaining, and troubleshooting high accuracy energy measurement systems. Specific tasks may include engineering work related to; communication systems, NIST traceable accuracy testing, department standards development, and management of advanced metering infrastructure software and data. REQUIREMENTS: Must currently be enrolled in a Bachelors degree program in Electrical, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited program with an expected graduation date between December 2024 and June 2026. Preference for Electrical discipline. Must possess and maintain a valid drivers license as occasional travel may be required. Candidates may be subject to assessment of skills, job match, or aptitude. DETAILS & DURATION OF INTERNSHIP: This internship will report in person to Duluth, MN. This role is expected to begin May 2025. The internship will be full time during summer with the possibility of extending into the academic terms up until graduation.
